What you commit to, and what we commit to for your data.

Before the details

This document explains the terms for using the Wisal system and how we handle the data you enter. Using the platform means you accept it.

Using the system

  • The system is used to manage your care home or care centre under the licence granted to you.
  • The account is yours, and you are responsible for keeping it private and not sharing passwords.
  • The system may not be used for content that breaks the regulations in force.
  • Bulk or automated use of the platform without written permission is not allowed.

Your data

  • You are the end user, and you remain the owner of the resident and staff data you enter.
  • It is processed according to your instructions, and only as far as needed to provide the service.
  • We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing purposes.
  • System administration keeps limited operational data to provide support and maintain the service.
  • You can export your data at any time, and deleting the account deletes the data according to the recovery schedule.

Privacy and data protection

  • The connection between your device and the system is encrypted.
  • Each user has an independent account, and permissions are set to the least access.
  • The activity log records operations inside the system.
  • Regular backups of your data.

Service and support

  • We work to keep the service available, and maintenance or circumstances outside our control can affect it.
  • Technical support is available during the published working hours.
  • We may add or change features, with advance notice when a change is significant.

Intellectual property

  • Wisal is a trademark and a system we own. Using the name or the logo requires permission.
  • The rights to the system interface and its code belong to us.
  • Your data does not become ours unless we agree otherwise.

Important note

  • Wisal is an information management tool. It does not replace the official regulations in your country, nor the agreements in place with your care home.
  • Wisal is never a substitute for medical or legal advice.
  • We make no claim to any certificate or external accreditation that is not stated explicitly in this document.
