Multi-branch groups

Several branches under one account, each running its own way

Central management needs a combined view and a branch manager needs to see only their own. Both come from the same account.

What this kind of facility runs into every day

Three things that come up in most facilities of this type.

  1. Each branch is a separate file and comparing them takes a day

The branches collect into one board: occupancy, revenue, cost and overdue tasks, set side by side.

  2. Permissions are unclear: who sees whose data?

A branch manager sees their branch and nobody else, and group management sees everything. No copy of the file per person, no printed permissions sheet.

  3. Each branch builds its report in its own shape

When the numbers come from different fields, putting them side by side is two readings rather than a comparison. One template makes the columns line up.

How a day runs here in Wisal

Four things that repeat every day in this particular type of facility.

The combined board

The branches side by side: occupancy, revenue, cost and overdue tasks, with the date each branch last updated.

Permissions per branch

Each branch has its own manager, users and permissions. Nobody sees what is not theirs, and no manager has to ask for a copy.

Shared templates and routines

The same report fields and the same entry rules in every branch, so two sites stay comparable under two different managers.

One activity log

In any branch, who changed a resident count or edited an invoice, and when — in one log that everyone with audit permission reads.

Common mistakes in this kind of facility

Three mistakes we see often, all of them avoidable by changing one habit.

  • Letting each branch work its own way, then asking head office for one report.
  • One account shared between branches, so permissions and data blur.
  • Reading the same number in two branch reports as meaning the same thing in both.

A starting point before the system

If you are still on spreadsheets, start with a free organised template and move your data into it. Moving to Wisal after that is a transfer, not a second job.

Questions care home managers ask

Direct answers, without exaggeration.

  • What is Wisal?

Wisal is cloud software for elderly care homes, care centres and residential facilities. It brings residents, rooms, daily care, medication, visits, staff, expenses, reports and communication with families together in one platform.

  • Is Wisal suitable for a small care home?

Yes. A small home can start with a simple setup and the two essential features, then add areas as it grows. The plans are designed for that.

  • Can I manage more than one branch?

Yes. Branches are added under one account, and each has its own manager, permissions and dashboard, while reporting stays unified across the organisation.

  • Can I add several users?

Yes. Each staff member gets their own account with their own permissions, and you can add as many users as your plan includes.

  • Are there different permissions?

Yes, eleven ready-made permissions: system administrator, facility owner, branch manager, reception, caregiver, nurse, doctor, pharmacist, accountant, HR, and family member. Each can be adjusted further.

  • Can I follow medication?

Yes. Every resident has a dose schedule with its times, the system records each dose and warns you when one is late, and it alerts the pharmacist when stock is running low.

  • Can I manage rooms?

Yes. Every room has a status (occupied, free, needs cleaning, maintenance), and a resident can be linked to a room directly.

  • Are there reports?

Yes: operational reports (occupancy, today’s tasks, team performance) and financial reports (income, expenses, payments and outstanding balances), all viewable and exportable.

  • Does the system work on a phone?

Yes, and it is designed for it: the nurse records the dose, the caregiver finishes the task, and the supervisor follows the shift — all from a phone.

  • Is my data safe?

Resident data is sensitive, and Wisal treats it that way: a separate account for every user, precise permissions, an encrypted connection, an activity log recording who did what and when, and regular backups.

  • Is there technical support?

Yes. The support team knows the care sector, and is available during the working hours when your care home runs.

  • How do I start the trial?

Create your care home account, add residents, rooms and staff, and start managing daily logs and medication. No credit card is needed to start, and you can export your data at any time.
